We have reached the Pacific.
It took us about 11 hours and more than a thousand kilometers, but alas we have arrived. While we started with rain and smoke, we eventually reached some blue sky that stayed with us for the rest of the trip.
Crossing the well-known Rockies, we ventured past new territories: BC. Sometimes, it looks like what California could be, even though I've never been. Sometimes, it looks like France.
And sometimes, advertisings remind us we're definitely in Canada.
Kelowna was a lovely stop. Peaceful and beautiful. I slept 8 full hours and life has never been so good. I hope the days of sleeping three hours a night are gone for good.
Vancouver was a bit more agitated with its big city behaviour. Seems like quite the place to apprehend and domesticate before settling in. We're not going to settle though, tomorrow the departure is at 6 for Victoria Island.
Some short words as the days are long and the free time is scarce.
I'm not too sure when I'll get wifi next, so until next time, hasta luego.
